Shady Layered Garden Expanded (15 Plants)
Layered structure · Four-season foliage · Designed for ecological depth
Available May 23–May 30 · Pickup at the Montclair Farmers Market (Walnut Street Station)
This expanded woodland planting deepens the calm, natural feel of the 9-plant garden while adding more foliage texture, seasonal color, and ecological richness. Anchored by a soft sedge ground layer and layered with spring bloomers, fall flowers, and evergreen structure, the design brings resilience and quiet beauty to shady spaces beneath trees and along woodland edges.
As with all Hope Grows gardens, this planting was created for Northern New Jersey landscapes — helping transform challenging shade into a thriving habitat garden.
