This collection brings together native shrubs for sun, shade, or somewhere in between. Whether you're creating a foundation planting, screening a view, adding a specimen shrub, or restoring habitat, these plants provide flowers for pollinators, berries for birds, host plants for butterflies and moths, and shelter for the creatures that call your yard home.

Why We Offer Young Plants

Our shrubs come in 1 gallon containers. Their manageable size makes them easy to plant and allows them to adapt readily to their new surroundings with less transplant stress.

Protecting new plants

Young shrubs may attract deer, rabbits, and other browsing animals. Protect new plantings with a simple wire cage or another suitable barrier during their first few seasons to give them the best chance to become established.

Ordering & Pickup

All shrubs are available for order online. Select one of our four fall pickup weekends when adding plants to your cart. We will have your order ready for pickup at the Montclair Farmers Market, or shop in person at the market while supplies last.
