Mirroring the full 15-plant layout, the template guides placement while preserving the layered groundcover, foliage, and seasonal bloom that define the design. Roll it onto your prepared planting area, secure it in place, and plant directly through the marked openings. After planting, mulch over the surface and allow the biodegradable material to gradually break down.

Plants are sold as young, well-rooted plugs. Some may be just emerging or still waking up from dormancy at pickup—they’ll grow and fill in as the season unfolds.
