Sunny Meadow–Inspired Garden Expanded (15 Plants)
High-impact · Insect-support powerhouse · Full-season interest
Available May 23–May 30 · Pickup at the Montclair Farmers Market (Walnut Street Station)
This expanded 3 x 9 foot meadow planting builds on the softness and movement of the 9-plant garden while adding more texture, bloom diversity, and ecological depth. Designed for sunny spaces that can handle heat and lean soils, the additional species create a layered planting that feels vibrant, balanced, and full of life from early summer into fall.
Like all Hope Grows gardens, this design was created to thrive in Northern New Jersey landscapes and provide a clear, guided path from planting day to a flourishing habitat garden.

Why we love this garden

- Swamp Milkweed anchors the planting with upright structure and vibrant pink mid-summer bloom, and as a premier Monarch host, it's the ecological heart of this garden
- Purple Lovegrass transforms in late summer into a dreamy haze of pink-purple seed heads that catch light and move with the breeze
- Wild Quinine quietly fills the garden with life while visually calming the planting between blooms
- Spotted Beebalm adds personality and sculptural interest with its stacked, architectural flowers
Why wildlife loves this garden
