Fun to see
Look closely at the small, dry seed capsules left behind after bloom. Their shape and clustering are exactly what earned this shrub its common name, "pepperbush," even though they have no relation to actual pepper.
What to expect at pickup
Plants are sold as young, well-rooted plugs. Some may be just emerging or still waking up from dormancy at pickup—they’ll grow and fill in as the season unfolds.
