What it is

Roll it out on your prepared bed, secure it in place, cut into the marked spots, and plant directly through the template. Once all plants are in, mulch over the surface and allow the material to naturally break down.

Plants are sold as young, well-rooted plugs. Some may be just emerging or still waking up from dormancy at pickup—they’ll grow and fill in as the season unfolds.
